## What WashBox actually is

WashBox is a mobile eco car wash for Abu Dhabi and Dubai. There is no fixed wash site and no queue. A crew travels to wherever your car is parked, sets up beside it, and cleans the exterior with encapsulating sprays, plush microfibre and low-pressure dry-vapour steam for the stubborn areas. We use biodegradable, pH-neutral chemistry and deionised water only where water is genuinely needed, so the paint is respected and very little runs to the drain.

We clean the exterior only. That is a deliberate choice, not a limitation. Most UAE buildings ban hose washing in the car park, and a full interior detail belongs in a different kind of appointment. By focusing on paint, glass, wheels and arches, we finish faster, keep the visit tidy and give you a genuinely reliable result every single time, whether your car sits in podium parking, a shaded basement or an open lot.

For you the experience is simple. You send an enquiry by email or through the booking form, we confirm a time slot and the price before we arrive, and the crew turns up at your bay with everything they need. No water point, no power socket and no keys handed over. You keep working, shopping or resting while the car is cleaned, and you walk back to a sealed, water-beading finish in about the time a coffee takes.

**About one litre per wash** A garden hose pours 150 to 200 litres of treated water over a single car. Our encapsulation method lifts and traps grit in a spray so it wipes away with microfibre, using roughly one litre. Steam work for heavier soil still stays near ten litres.

**We come to your bay** The crew travels to your parking bay at home, the office or the mall and works right beside the car. Nothing is towed or driven away, no keys change hands unless you choose, and you never sit in a wash queue in the heat.

**Safe on your paint** Grit is the enemy of a glossy panel. We pre-soften soil, use fresh microfibre for every vehicle and wipe in straight strokes, not circles. Heavier deposits are softened with steam before any contact, so we lift dirt away rather than grind it across the clear coat.

**Biodegradable chemistry** Our sprays are biodegradable and pH-neutral, chosen to be kind to paint, trim and rubber seals. Because we use so little water, there is almost no runoff carrying detergent into the storm drain, which matters in dense communities and near the coast.

## How a WashBox visit works

1. **Send an enquiry** Email us at care@washbox.ae or use the booking form. Tell us your car, your community and your parking type. There is no phone line to sit on hold with, so everything is in writing and easy to confirm later.
2. **We confirm slot and price** We reply with an available time inside our 07:00 to 22:00 window and a fixed price for the wash you asked for. You approve it in writing before anyone travels, so the cost is agreed and there is nothing to negotiate on arrival.
3. **The crew arrives at your bay** Our team reaches your parking bay with water, power and every tool already on board. We do not need a tap or a socket from you. If access needs a gate pass or a lift, tell us in the enquiry and we sort it out in advance.
4. **Exterior cleaned and sealed** We clean paint, glass, wheels and arches, then finish with a hydrophobic sealant that helps the next dust layer rinse off more easily. You come back to a bright, water-beading car and a tidy bay, usually in the time a coffee takes.

## Why a litre a wash matters here

Most tap water in the UAE begins as seawater. Desalination is energy-hungry and expensive, so every litre poured over a bonnet carries a real cost that a wetter country never sees. Pouring 150 to 200 litres of that water onto one car, then watching it run down a ramp carrying detergent, is hard to justify when a clean, glossy result is achievable with a single litre.

The encapsulation method changes the arithmetic. Instead of blasting grit off with volume, the spray surrounds each dirt particle so it releases from the paint and lifts into the microfibre. Steam handles the heavier jobs with a fraction of the water a pressure washer needs. Nothing is sprayed across a shared car park, and almost nothing reaches the drain.

## FAQ

**Is a waterless car wash safe for my paint?**

Yes, when it is done correctly, and that is the whole point of our method. The encapsulating spray surrounds each grit particle and lifts it off the clear coat rather than dragging it across. We use fresh microfibre for every vehicle and pre-soften heavier soil with steam before any contact. On very muddy or salt-crusted cars we add steam first so nothing is ground into the paint.

**Do you come to my building?**

Yes. WashBox is a mobile service, so we clean at your own parking bay, whether that is a villa driveway, a podium level, a basement or an office lot. We arrive with our own water and power and work beside the car. If your building needs a gate pass, visitor registration or lift access, mention it in your enquiry and we arrange it in advance.

**How much is a car wash in Abu Dhabi?**

**How long does it take?**

A standard exterior wash on a car or small SUV usually takes about the length of a coffee break. Larger vehicles, or cars carrying heavy dust, salt haze or bug strike, take a little longer because we add steam and extra dwell time. We give you a realistic estimate when we confirm your slot, so you can plan the rest of your day around it.

**Which areas do you cover in Abu Dhabi?**

**Do you need a water or power point?**
