Al Falah is a newer planned villa community out toward the airport road, with wide streets and shaded carports but plots still edged by ongoing construction. We wash where your car is parked, clearing the fine building fallout that settles on paint as the area finishes filling in.

Al Falah is one of the planned communities laid out toward the airport road, a grid of new and near-new villas with generous carports and family-sized driveways. It is still growing, so alongside the finished homes there are plots under construction, and that stage of a community leaves its own mark on the cars parked here. The wide plots give us plenty of room to work around a vehicle without ever touching the street.

The main issue is construction fallout: a fine cement and building dust that drifts from active plots and settles on roofs and bonnets, along with the ordinary inland sand. It is grittier than plain dust and, if it is wiped dry, it scratches readily. Our encapsulating spray wraps the particles so they lift into the microfibre, and we take extra care on horizontal panels where the fallout lands heaviest.

The shaded carports here work in our favour. Out of the direct sun the product stays workable, so the finish comes up even rather than streaky, and we can do a full exterior detail without fighting flash-drying. No hose is run across the new interlock and no water line is needed, about a litre per car, driveway left dry. On a fresh plot with no outdoor tap yet, a self-contained crew is the only practical option.

Many Al Falah households are settling in with two cars and a school commute on the airport road. A regular home wash keeps the building dust from ever bonding, and we can add a wax seal so the next fall of fallout rinses away far more easily. ## Access and parking

We wash in the villa carport or on the driveway, keeping to the shaded side so the finish stays even. If a plot nearby is under construction, we position to avoid the dust and clean the horizontal panels last.
