Al Rawdah is a quiet inland residential pocket off Sheikh Rashid Bin Saeed, all villa compounds and green landscaping. The garden sprinklers that keep it green also throw a mineral overspray onto the paint, and clearing that spotting is what a wash here is really about.

Al Rawdah is a calm residential district set back from Sheikh Rashid Bin Saeed, made up of villa compounds with well-kept gardens and mature landscaping. It has none of the highway exposure of the northern suburbs; the pace is quiet and the streets are green, which brings a very specific problem for the cars parked alongside all that planting. The greenery is the appeal here, and also the reason a car parked at home never quite stays clean.

The culprit is sprinkler overspray. Landscaping systems run at dawn and dusk, and the fine spray drifts onto cars parked near the lawns and beds. As those droplets dry in the heat they leave behind hard water minerals, chalky white spots that cling to paint and glass and shrug off an ordinary wash. Over time they etch if they are ignored.

This is where low-pressure dry vapour steam earns its place. The steam softens the mineral deposits so they release without aggressive rubbing, and a dedicated glass pass clears the same spotting from the windscreen and windows where it is most obvious. Our pH-neutral chemistry lifts the residue without stripping any wax or coating underneath, so the paint keeps whatever protection it already has.

Because Al Rawdah is villas with private driveways and carports, we work right where the car sits, no hose across the compound, about a litre of water per car and the driveway left dry. For homes with sprinklers close to the parking, a regular slot keeps the mineral spotting from ever building into etched marks. Moving the car a few metres from the beds between washes also helps, and we are happy to advise on that.
