Shakhbout City, once Khalifa City B, is villa compounds with generous shaded carports. That shade is a gift for a mobile wash, and we make full use of it.

Shakhbout City is a settled villa neighbourhood of large family homes, most with a covered carport built for the heat. For us that shade changes the whole job: out of the direct sun our encapsulating spray stays workable, so we can wash a big vehicle end to end without the product flashing off and leaving streaks halfway through.

The area is inland and residential, so the main contamination is fine desert sand that drifts in and settles overnight, plus everyday road dust from the school and work runs. It looks like a light coating, but it is abrasive, and the wrong way to remove it is a dry cloth or a quick hose flick that just pushes it around. We surround the grit and float it off into microfibre so the paint stays scratch-free.

Households here typically run several vehicles, often including a larger SUV, so doing the whole compound in one visit saves everyone a trip. Bigger vehicles are quoted on size up front, and the from-AED-20 price covers a standard exterior car.

We set up in the carport, use no water line, and leave the interlock dry. If nobody is home, leave the gate accessible and the keys arranged with the house help or security, and we email photos of the finished cars.

## Access and parking

We wash in the villa carport, which is usually shaded and ideal. If you are out, leave the gate open or the car outside the compound with keys arranged, and we send finished photos.
