The terms that govern the WashBox website, the wash we do at your car, and the WashBox apps. They set out who you are contracting with and what each side owes the other. In plain terms, with no padding.

## 1. Who you are contracting with

The website at https://washbox.ae, the mobile car wash and the WashBox apps are operated by WASH BOX FOR CAR WASHING - L.L.C - S.P.C, a company licensed in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates under economic licence CN-6695626. Throughout these terms, "WashBox", "we" and "us" mean that company, and "you" means the person or business using the website, the wash service or the apps.

You can reach us by email at care@washbox.ae or by phone on +971 58 540 1230. Our working hours are 07:00 to 22:00, seven days a week. Bookings, quotes, changes and any concern about a wash are handled within those hours.

These terms govern three connected things: this website, the exterior wash carried out at your car, and the two WashBox apps. Using any of them means you accept these terms. Where a section applies only to a particular reader, it says so, and the next section explains which reader you are.

## 2. Three different relationships, and which one is yours

WashBox is both a car wash and a platform, so a reader can stand in one of three places, and it matters which. As our privacy policy puts it, WashBox is a platform used by more than one independent operator, and it is not a single company doing a single thing.

First, WashBox may wash your car directly, in Abu Dhabi or Al Reem Island. In that case your service contract is with us, and every section of these terms applies to you: the wash, booking, prices, subscriptions, cancellation, the photograph record and our liability.

Second, an independent operator may wash your car while WashBox supplies only the software behind the job. In that case your service contract for the wash is with that operator, not with us. We are not a party to it and do not set that operator's prices, and the operator is responsible for the wash it performs. What binds you and us is your use of this website and of the car owner app, described in the app section below. Sections about the conduct of the wash itself are a description of how the service normally works rather than a promise we make on the operator's behalf.

Third, you may be a car wash business licensing the platform from us. In that case the licensing section governs the relationship between your company and us, alongside the separate written agreement made before your company is created. The consumer wash sections do not describe a contract between you and us.

If you are unsure which of the three you are, the simplest test is who takes your money and whose name is on the service: if it is WashBox, you are the first reader; if it is another operator, you are the second; if you run the wash and pay us for the software, you are the third.

## 3. What the wash includes, and what it does not

The wash is exterior only. It covers the painted body panels, the glass, the wheels, the mirrors and the door handles. It does not include the interior, the engine bay, or any mechanical, electrical or bodywork repair. Nobody enters or works inside the cabin, and nothing under the bonnet is touched.

The service is mobile. The crew comes to the car where it is parked, works from a trolley they bring with them, and uses roughly one litre of water per car rather than a running hose. They clean up after themselves and leave nothing behind: no puddles, no packaging, no equipment.

The products are chosen for the setting. They are biodegradable and pH neutral, safe to use over a painted surface and next to residents and their belongings in a shared car park. The exact steps of a given wash, such as steam on heavier soil or a sealant top-up, depend on the wash you booked and the state of the car, and are confirmed with you before work begins.

## 4. Booking, access and your responsibilities

A booking is confirmed by phone or email before the visit. No booking is final until we confirm the time, the place and the quote back to you. You can start a request through the website or by contacting us on +971 58 540 1230 or care@washbox.ae.

You are responsible for the car being accessible at the agreed time and place, and for having permission for a crew to work where the car is parked, whether that is a residential car park, a compound, or a hotel forecourt. If a building, security desk or management company needs to approve access, arranging that is your responsibility, since we cannot enter private property without the resident's or owner's permission.

Before the crew arrives, please have the windows and the sunroof closed and remove loose items resting on the panels, such as covers, chargers or shopping. This lets the crew work without moving your belongings and keeps the before and after photographs a fair record of the car itself.

If the crew arrives and cannot carry out the wash because the car is not there, is blocked in, or access is refused, the visit is treated as set out in the section on a visit we cannot complete.

## 5. Prices, quotes and VAT

No figure published anywhere on this website is a fixed price. Any figure you see is an indicative starting point for a standard saloon in a covered community. The size of the car, its height, how dirty it is since the last wash, how difficult it is to reach, and any add-ons all change the figure.

The final price is confirmed with you before the work begins. We confirm the quote by phone or email, and the wash goes ahead against that agreed figure. If anything about the car or the access is different from what was described, we tell you the revised price before starting rather than after finishing. Questions about a quote can go to care@washbox.ae.

Value added tax applies at the prevailing rate set in the United Arab Emirates and is added on top of the quoted figure unless we state that a figure already includes it.

For a single wash, payment is cash or card at the car on completion. For a subscription, the wash is covered by the plan. WashBox records what was agreed and what was collected, and marks each wash as cash, card or plan covered, but WashBox does not itself process card payments: the software never takes or stores a card number, and any card payment is handled directly between you and the crew at the car.

## 6. Subscriptions and plans

A subscription covers an agreed number of washes over an agreed period for a named car. The plan, its price, how many washes it covers and how many you have used are recorded, and you can see them in the car owner app once your account is linked.

Requests to pause, resume or cancel a plan go to the office, which confirms them. Where the app offers a pause or cancellation, it raises the request rather than making the change itself: the office reviews the request and confirms the outcome. This keeps a single, checked record of the plan rather than letting it be changed from two places at once.

A plan can be suspended where amounts owed on it are unpaid, and washes under a suspended plan do not go ahead until the amount is settled. We do not publish a fixed formula for crediting washes you have not used. If a plan ends with washes unused, the office reconciles the period, taking account of the washes actually done and anything outstanding, and confirms the outcome to you in writing.

## 7. Cancelling, rescheduling and a visit we cannot complete

Because nothing is prepaid for a single wash, cancelling before the crew arrives costs nothing. Ask to cancel by phone or WhatsApp on +971 58 540 1230, and the earlier you tell us the easier it is to give the slot to someone else.

If the crew has already travelled to the car and cannot carry out the wash because the car is absent, is blocked in by another vehicle, or access to the car park is refused, WashBox may charge that visit at the quoted price, because the crew and the trip were committed to it. We would rather reschedule, and will always try to reach you first.

Rescheduling is free. Move a booking to another time by contacting us on the published number or by email, and we will confirm the new slot back to you.

## 8. Weather, dust and conditions

The crew starts early, at 07:00, to work on cool panels and to avoid washing scorching paint in the midday heat. This is better for the finish and is why the working day begins when it does.

WashBox may reschedule a visit for rain, a khamsin dust storm, or unsafe conditions in an open car park, such as high wind or poor footing. When that happens we will tell you and agree a new time, rather than press on and wash badly in conditions that would not give the car a proper clean.

## 9. Photographs are a service record

Before and after photographs are taken of every wash. Each photograph carries the GPS coordinates of where it was taken, how accurate that location fix was, and a timestamp of the moment it was taken. In an underground car park, where there is often no satellite fix, a photograph may carry no coordinates and the building is recorded instead.

These photographs are the record of what was done, to which car, in which place, at what time. They are the evidence a wash happened, and they are why a concern about the wash can be judged against something rather than against memory.

Consistent with our privacy policy, the photographs sit in private storage. When one is opened in the app, the app is handed a temporary link that stops working after a few minutes. The links are never public. The photographs are never published, never sold, and never used for advertising. They are a service record, not marketing material.

## 10. If something goes wrong: damage, claims and the photograph record

The work is exterior only, so any concern about damage is assessed against the before photograph, which is exactly why the before photograph is taken. Pre-existing chips, swirl marks, scratches and failing lacquer that are visible in the before photograph are not caused by the wash, because they were there before it started.

If you have a concern about a wash, raise it within 48 hours by email to care@washbox.ae, quoting the date of the wash and the car's number plate. Raising it quickly matters, because the car keeps being used and the state it is in later is no longer a fair test of the wash.

The normal remedy is that the crew returns and re-cleans the affected panels at no charge. Where a re-clean is not practical, WashBox may instead credit or refund the price of that wash. For any one wash, WashBox's total liability is limited to the price of that wash, except where the law of the United Arab Emirates does not permit that limit, in which case liability is whatever that law requires and no more.

WashBox is not liable for items left on or in the car. Please take loose belongings with you or store them out of the way before the visit, as set out in the section on access and your responsibilities.

## 11. The two apps

There are two WashBox apps, for two different people. The field app is issued by an employer to its own crew and is not a consumer app. A washer signs in with an employee code and a four digit PIN, and use of that app by staff is governed by the employee app privacy notice, not by the consumer terms here.

The car owner app is for the person whose car is washed. It shows the records held by the operator serving you: your cars, your washes, who washed the car, the before and after photographs, and your subscription and when it is next due. The app cannot take a payment, change a price, or change a plan. Where it offers a pause or cancellation it raises a request for the office to confirm, as set out in the subscriptions section.

Deleting your account removes the sign in and its sessions, so nobody can sign in as you afterwards. The operator's own record of the washes, the photographs and the amounts is a business record and its evidence that a wash was done, and it is kept after your account is gone. The account deletion page at /delete-account explains exactly what is removed and what an operator keeps.

## 12. Licensing the platform

This section is for car wash businesses licensing the WashBox platform. A licence is agreed in writing before any company is created on the system. That written agreement, together with these terms, governs the relationship between your company and us.

The platform has four limits, stated plainly so nobody discovers them later. There is no payment processing: the software records what was agreed and what was collected and marks each wash as cash, card or plan covered, but it never takes a card payment. There is no billing of your company through the software: onboarding records which plan you are on, but invoicing you for the platform is handled off the system. There is no custom domain for your company: every company uses the same WashBox hostnames. And there is no SMS provider configured by default, so a resident linking an account is verified by your office in the panel, and SMS codes are used only where you have enabled a provider.

A demo is available at app.washbox.ae, reachable with the username demo and the password demo. Everything in the demo is fabricated data, wiped and rebuilt nightly. It is offered for evaluation only and carries no service commitment, and a demo sign in is confined to the panel with no access to the wider system.

Each licensee's records are its own and are isolated from every other company on the system. One company cannot see another's customers, cars, washes or photographs. Access to the platform can be suspended where licence fees are unpaid.

## 13. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms we will post the new version here and update the effective date at the top. The effective date is the only date to trust for which version is current, so a printout or a screenshot may be out of date.

Continued use of the website, the wash service or the apps after a change means you accept the changed terms. Where a change materially affects a live subscription or a live licence, we tell that customer directly rather than expecting them to notice it here.

## 14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. Any dispute that cannot be settled between us is subject to the courts of Abu Dhabi.

If you have any question about these terms, write to care@washbox.ae.
