The visit begins with a foam pre-soak that clings to the paint and starts dissolving the loose dust and film, so the abrasive desert grit is softened before any towel or mitt touches the surface. This pre-wash step is the difference between a real detail and a quick wipe: lifting grit chemically first is how you avoid dragging it across the clear coat during the contact stage. We keep the water use tight, applying and agitating rather than rinsing endlessly.
Environmental impact
A full exterior detail sounds water-hungry, but ours is not. By foaming, agitating and wiping instead of running a hose throughout, we hold total water use far below a conventional detail and save roughly 190 litres per car against a hose-based version. What is the difference between a detail wash and a normal wash?
A normal wash cleans the surface. A detail adds a foam pre-soak, a careful contact wash and a decontamination stage that removes bonded fallout and iron particles you can feel, then seals the paint. It leaves the surface glass-smooth, not just visibly clean.
Does the exterior detail remove scratches?
No. This is a wash and decontamination detail, not machine paint correction. It removes contaminants sitting on top of the paint and greatly improves clarity and gloss, but polishing out swirl marks or deeper scratches is a separate correction process that this service does not include.
How often should I get an exterior detail in the UAE?
Two to four times a year suits most cars here, given the dust, heat and coastal salt. Between details, keep the finish up with an Express or Eco Waterless Wash. Cars parked outdoors or near the coast benefit from the higher end of that range.
How long does an exterior detail take?
