Steam works by temperature rather than force. A machine heats a small reservoir of water into dry vapour at well over a hundred degrees, delivered at low pressure so it never blasts grit across the paint. That heat softens the bond between dirt and surface: the powdery khamsin dust that has cemented into a film after a humid night, the greasy road haze along the sills, and the fine salt that coastal air leaves on cars near the Corniche or Palm Jumeirah all release far more easily once warmed.
Environmental impact
Steam turns a very small amount of water into a large amount of cleaning. A full steam exterior uses around ten litres of water in total, against the 150 to 200 litres a hose pours out, so you save roughly 140 litres while getting into places a rinse never reaches. The heat does the work usually done by extra detergent and volume, which means less chemistry entering the drains and a smaller footprint for a deeper clean.

Is steam cleaning safe for car paint?
Yes. We use low-pressure dry vapour, not a high-pressure jet, so nothing is blasted across the surface. The heat softens grime and we lift it with microfibre, which is gentle on a healthy clear coat. It is not suitable for correcting existing scratches.
What can steam remove that a normal wash cannot?
Steam gets into places a towel cannot reach and softens contamination bonded by heat and humidity: grille recesses, badge surrounds, rubber trim, door shuts and coastal salt film. It also sanitises exterior touch points, which a standard wipe-down does not do.
Does a steam wash remove tar and tree sap?
