Delete your account

Deleting your WashBox account is permanent. It removes your account and your password, your links to every wash company you are connected to here, and every sign-in session, so you are signed out on all your devices.

In the app you lose access to your cars, your wash history, the before and after photographs, and your subscription.

Your wash companies keep their own service records of the washes they carried out for you: when each wash happened, who did it, the before and after photographs, the amount, and your subscription. These are not deleted when you delete your account.

Those records belong to the operator, not to your login. They are the company's books and its evidence if a wash or a charge is ever disputed, and a business in the UAE is required to keep proper records of the work it performs and is paid for. So deleting your account removes your access and your account, not the operator's record of the work it did for you.

If you want an operator to change or remove what it holds about your household, ask that operator directly, or write to us at [email protected] and we will pass your request on.

Deletion in the app is immediate. As soon as you confirm, the account, its links and its sessions are removed and you are signed out.

A request sent by email is actioned within 30 days of us confirming it came from the number on the account.

You do not need the app to delete your account. Email [email protected] from the email on your account, or quoting the UAE mobile number your account uses, and ask us to delete your WashBox account.

We confirm the request comes from the owner of that number before we act, so that nobody can delete an account that is not theirs. Once confirmed, we remove the account, its links and its sessions, and reply to tell you it is done.
