Schedule

The schedule is not a list someone types. It is generated from the active subscriptions, one expected wash per car that is due, and then reconciled against the jobs the crew has already submitted. So a car whose wash has come in shows as done, one being photographed now shows as in progress with the washer's name and the time it began, and one still waiting shows as not started. The list is the work left, not the work planned.

Rows are grouped by area, Abu Dhabi before Abu Dhabi, with a summary line for each area so a supervisor reads the shape of a neighbourhood before the individual cars. Each row carries the building and parking bay a washer needs, and the plan's usage, this period's washes used against the allowance, so a car that is ahead or behind on its plan is obvious in place.

Overdue washes are separated from those due today, and an overdue row shows how many days late it is. A plan that should have been served on Tuesday and was not does not vanish into a general backlog; it sits at the top marked with its lateness, which is the difference between a schedule that tells you what to do and one that only tells you what you meant to do.

The range switches between today, tomorrow and the next seven days, so the same reconciliation that runs the morning also lets the office look ahead at what is coming and whether the crew and areas line up with it.
